This book was sent as a digital sample of the whole by the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I am not being compensated in any way. All opinions stated are fully my own.

I browsed through the book first looking at the pictures and there were very few in the sample I was sent so I had little to go on for that aspect of the book. What there was were simplistic drawings of flowers that you could have found in any coloring book. Some even had space for you to add your own drawing.
There was a very loving foreword by the author's husband. Then a down-to-earth introduction by Sarah, the author. Then she launches into an analysis of each of her children based on what their names mean and then how she related to each of them.
Finally, with Day 1 we get a quotation from Genesis. It's about names again. And we're given the assignment to doodle about our name and what and who we are. Day 2 is about refueling and Day 3 is about self-awareness. I'm not sure about the drawings, as they really make me dizzy with all the squiggles in them. I am both an artist and a coloring book fan. I think more soothing drawings would have been better for supporting and uplifting women who are or have been raising children. The devotions I found to be appropriate and made me think about things in my own life. I am at the empty nester end of the scale. My two children are 27 and 30. But they are still my children and always will be. That is all I had of the book and really felt it wasn't enough to judge the whole book. Typically, the artwork in coloring books gets better, more detailed as you go further into the book. I don't know about this one. I feel at a bit of a disadvantage reviewing this book, but am giving my honest opinion based on what I was given. I cannot judge the physical book, as I was sent a digital copy.
