Mirror, Mirror - Mary Blayney, Mary Kay McComas, Elaine Fox, R.C. Ryan, J.D. Robb
I bought this because of the name JD Robb. I liked the Robb and the Mary Blanely stories the best. The rest of them were rather weak. They needed much more development, whereas both Robb and Blanely's stories seemed complete as is. For Robb, that may be because we are already familiar with the characters involved. With Mary Blanely"s story about the retired soldier and the maid with the magic coin, it was a cold start and a full-bodied story, complete as is. Quite an accomplishment. Perhaps, that makes Blanely's story the greater achievement.
